First Telecom Services Optical Transport Service is a high-capacity, point-to-point Wave service available over the newly deployed fiber optic network running between Chicago and Newark/New York Cities (see Fiber Map). This newly deployed network offers Unique Fiber Routes and Lower Network Latency for mission critical data applications.

With First Telecom Services Optical Transport, data is transported securely over a dedicated, end to end facility provisioned over robust fiber network utilizing the latest Dense Wave Division Multiplexing (DWDM) transport technology. This network is designed to provide security, reliability and scalability to accommodate your growing network needs.

First Telecom Services Optical Transport Service provides:

First Telecom Services’ Optical Transport Service Description

Optical Transport services are provided over First Telecom Services’ new Dense Wavelength Division Multipexing (DWDM) network infrastructure scheduled for completion in 1Q 09. When complete, this network will support 1G to 40G services and will be scalable to 100G services. The Optical Transport service is an unprotected Wave services delivered at an FTS Network Access Point as a 2-fiber handoff.
